Floros taken to appeals prosecutor to complete procedures for his return to prison

Convicted former businessman Aristidis Floros, 39, was taken to the appeals court prosecution department on Monday, for the completion of procedures for his transfer back to prison after his release was revoked. The businessman was arrested on Friday after authorities found that his degree of disability had been inflated in certificates that allowed his automatic release from prison.

The 39-year-old jailed for the Energa and Hellas Power fraud case will be led back to Halkida Prison once the necessary accompanying documents are issued.

Meanwhile, the corruption prosecutor has launched an investigation into the methods used by the convict to secure the disability certificate that led to his release and whether there is evidence of serious offences, such as bribery.
