Rama speaks with FM Dendias before meeting with Erdogan

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama had a phone call with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias following an invitation by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Rama to visit him tomorrow in Turkey.

It was Dendias who announced the phone call with Rama, stating that “the latest regional developments” were in focus of their discussion.

The Albanian government has not informed the public neither on Rama’s visit to Turkey tomorrow, nor on his phone call with the Greek foreign minister.

Rama has strongly supported the move, and has refused to answer concerns of the Albanian civil society and opposition.
