Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias is heading to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, where he will meet with his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ministry said on Monday.
This will be Dendias’ fourth visit to the UAE, proof of the particularly close bonds between the two countries, added the ministry.
Talks are expected to focus on the two countries’ bilateral strategic cooperation, in continuation of the singing of the agreement on matters of foreign policy and defense in November 2020, it was added.
The latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean in the light of the recent Athens visit of the Turkish foreign affairs minister, and all the latest developments in the Middle East and in the Gulf will all be discussed.
Dendias will also visit the new premises of the Greek embassy in Abu Dhabi.
