Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias received on Wednesday his counterpart from Cyprus Ioannis Kasoulides at the foreign ministry.
The two officials discussed the latest developments on the course of negotiations on the Cyprus issue.
“Deliberations are currently underway in Cyprus,” stated Kasoulides after the meeting with Kotzias adding that
“this demands a close cooperation and exchange of information with my friend Nikos Kotzias and this is the reason why I am here today.”
On this part, Kotzias said “we express again our solidarity to the people of Cyprus and we state again our position that the anachronistic regime of guarantees should end and the occupation troops should withdraw from Cyprus. We exchange views with my friend and minister of my beloved Cyprus Yiannakis Kasoulides,” said Kotzias.
