Foreign Minister Kotzias to participate in EU foreign affairs council on Monday

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be in Brussels next Monday (March 6) to participate in the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council, which will discuss migration, EU-Egypt relations, the situation in the Western Balkans and the Middle East peace process, the ministry said on Friday.

The minister will present Greece’s position on migration and the Western Balkans, while he will then participate in the joint session of defence and foreign affairs ministers, which focus on an EU global strategy in the area of security and defence.

The foreign ministry hailed the participation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in the EU ministers’ working lunch, which stressed the strengthening of EU-Egyptian relations, which Greece supports.
