Foreclosure auctions will take place exclusively online as of Feb. 21, according to draft law provisions

Auctions of foreclosed properties will be carried out only electronically as of February 21, according to one of the provisions included in the omnibus bill expected to be tabled by Tuesday night in Parliament.

Electronic auctions will only take place Wednesdays, Thursdays or Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 18:00. Details on extending these by a maximum of 2 hours are also provided in the bill.

There will be no electronic auctions from August 1 to August 31, or one week before and one week after elections for deputies, the European Parliament, and local government, among other issues.
