A former minister under New Democracy governments, Aristidis Kalatzakos, passed away on Sunday night at the age of 89. He had first entered politics with the ERE party in 1958 and served as deputy finance minister in 1967, as minister for coordination from September 1976 until October 1977, as minister of commerce in 1980-1981 and minister for labour from April 1990 until October 1993.
