The self-proclaimed organization ‘Anarchist Action’ has assumed responsibility for the June 8 explosion of an improvised incendiary device at a company of American interests in Thessaloniki, in an online statement published Monday.
The blast had caused a fire at the company’s site in Karamanli Avenue, Thessaloniki, while a 32-year-old woman had to be evacuated from a third-floor balcony with the help of a crane.
The post links the blast to the death of African-American George Floyd in Minnesota and was posted on a website affiliated with fringe anarchist groups.
