FYROM, Greece exchange proposals over name issue

FYROM has responded to Greek proposals with their own, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said on Tuesday, and expressed optimism that a solution over the name issue would be found.

He added that the exchange of proposals between the two countries should serve as a tool that will facilitate the negotiation round scheduled for March 30 in Vienna under the aegis of the United Nations.

In related statements, FYROM Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov said he looks forward to seeing his Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias on Thursday.

Kotzias will travel to Skopje for an official two-day visit.
