Public Power Corporation (PPC) and Larco will soon reach a commonly accepted and mutually beneficial agreement on electricity sale price, Environment and Energy Minister George Stathakis said during a meeting with SYRIZA deputies on Monday.
SYRIZA deputies from the prefects of Fthiotida, Viotia and Evia, during the meeting, expressed their interest over a new agreement on an electricity price for Larco and stressed it was related with the industry’s viability.
Stathakis said the two sides seemed to have converge on the issue and to agree on an electricity power sale price, commonly accepted and mutually beneficial. Discussions between PPC and Larco were at an advance stage, Stathakis said and noted that a new agreement was expected to be presented to the two boards soon. Larco is one of the largest debtor to PPC from previous years’ electricity power consumption.
