Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata on Sunday stressed the need for immediately addressing the issue of price hikes that affect households, small and medium enterprises and farmers.
“The government is taking temporary and insufficient measures which are not enough,” she said and added:
“We need to immediately raise the minimum wage to 751 euros, we need controls by the competent authorities to combat speculation and we need to reduce first of all the VAT on food, consumption tax, fuel in order to be able to support households. It is obvious that the Mitsotakis government is not concerned about the majority of the people. He is building a Greece for a few. The country needs a new change that only the ‘Movement for Change’ can put into practice.”
For this reason, she called upon all the progressive citizens to actively participate in the KINAL elections on December 5 in order to strengthen the movement and the effort for a new change that the country needs.
