Georgiadis: The measures were taken to keep the market open at Christmas

“The measures are being taken because we have to put a stop to the spread of the pandemic and not reach the situation that prevails in Northern Europe and keep the market open at Christmas.” stressed the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, speaking to SKAI television about the measures that will apply from tomorrow Monday throughout the country.

The possibility of a new general ban in the country was once again ruled out by the minister, who, however, left open the possibility of taking additional measures for the unvaccinated, “to the extent that they can burden the National Health System,” he said.
