Tzanakopoulos: The government will do its best to conclude the review as soon as possible

The IMF extreme demands is the reason why the conclusion of the Greek programme review has been delayed, State Minister and government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos on Thursday said in an interview with Real 97.8 FM.

He stressed that the IMF demand for legislating in advance 4.5 billion euro measures after the end of the programme is absurd and is not justified politically or financially. Tzanakopoulos acknowledged the negative impact of uncertainty but, as he said, it is a result of the IMF stance. He promised, however, that the government will do its best to conclude the review as soon as possible.
