Government, party leaders wish KINAL’s Gennimata a speedy recovery

Government and party leaders wished Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata a speedy recovery in social media posts on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day Gennimata had announced her withdrawal from the December electoral race for the party leadership due to deteriorating health issues. She had been also hospitalized on Monday night.

“I wish President Fofi Gennimata a speedy and speedy recovery. As far as I am concerned, from now on I am suspending my pre-election activity”, said via twitter the MEP and candidate for the presidency of KINAL, Nikos Androulakis.

And Andreas Loverdos in a post emphasizes: “From the first moment I learned that Fofi Gennimata is being treated, I contacted her close associates and expressed what I say in public: I am by her side as a partner and as a dear friend”
