Gov’t keeping parties and people in the dark on FYROM talks, claims ND’s Koumoutsakos

Main opposition New Democracy’s (ND) shadow foreign affairs minister George Koumoutsakos on Monday noted that “the negotiations with Skopje remain grey” and said that it was “institutionally and politically unacceptable” that all the information arriving was the result of leaks from abroad.

“The government is keeping the parties and the citizens in the dark,” Koumoutsakos said.

He also underlined ND’s great concern that the government appears to be promoting “a fragmented solution, rather than integrated solution that includes the name, its implementation, irredentism and Constitution,” stressing that this was unacceptable.
