Eurozone finance ministers will be looking at closing the Greek programme when they meet in Brussels on Monday, Eurogroup President Mario Centeno told reporters in a brief doorstep statement as he arrived for the meeting, noting that this was “great news”.
“The Greek authorities have been doing a great job in implementing a very ambitious reform plan and today we will [be briefed by] the institutions. It has been a quite long period of programmes, already eight years, so we are looking at the closing of this programme, which is certainly great news,” he said.
