Greece and Sweden seek closer business relations

A total of 29 Greek enterprises participated in a business delegation to Stockholm, a visit organised by the Greek embassy in Sweden in cooperation with the Greek-Swedish Chamber, in the framework of an official visit by Foreign Affairs deputy minister for International Economic Relations Dimitris Mardas.

The aim of the visit in Sweden was to promote trade and economic relations between the two countries.

I. Sarakakis, president of the Greek-Swedish Chamber, addressing a business forum organised in October 3 referred to initiatives taken by the chamber to develop bilateral economic relations and emphasized on the preconditions towards further strengthening relations, particularly the need to improve business climate in Greece with the aim to attract investments.

The business forum organized more than 150 business meetings between the 29 Greek enterprises and Swedish enterprises in the sectors of food/beverage, cosmetics, health tourism, real estate development and cutting-edge technology.
