Greece, Bahrain to recognize each other’s Covid-19 vaccination certificates

Greece and Bahrain have agreed to the mutual recognition of their Covid-19 vaccination certificates to better facilitate travel and tourism between them, the two foreign ministries announced in a joint statement on Thursday.

It was also noted that this agreement was reached after recent formal official talks between the two countries, besides a collaboration of the respective foreign affairs and health ministries.

The joint announcement also states that the identification process in the near future will be carried out digitally, and is expected to promote tourism, trade and economic relations between Greece and Bahrain.
