Greece continues to increase its share in the tourist market, Tsilidis says

Greece’s rise in tourism is not coincidental, the president of the Federation of Travel Agencies (FEDHATTA), Lysandros Tsilidis, said on Monday in statements to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

Despite the fact that the climate has turned positive for all competitive countries, Greece continues to increase its share in the tourist market, so this year it will be a champion. “Greece has now stabilized and foreigners are not coming here by chance. Greece is a nice landscape which will continue to grow,” Tsilidis stressed.

Responding to a question whether the Greek tourism has a “ceiling” on arrivals, Tsilidis stressed that Greece has no “ceiling” … however, from July 17 to August 20, the tourism infrastructures actually touch a “ceiling”.

For this reason, the extension of the tourist season is important, he added.
