The International Exhibition of Technology and Electronics CeBIT 2017 was successfully completed with the participation of Greece.
The exhibition was held from March 20 to March 24, 2017, in Hanover, Germany.
Agency Enterprise Greece in cooperation with the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE) organised the exhibition which was supported by the Association of Applied Securities Association, Corallia cluster and the Greek-German Commercial and Industrial Chamber.
Twelve Greek companies from the digital technology industry and electronics participated in the Greek mission, giving a dynamic presence for the first time after several years as exhibitors at CeBIT. Enterprise Greece also organized an investment seminar during which representatives of the organisation and Greek exhibitors presented comprehensive investment proposals of the technology industry, the comparative advantages of our country and the incentives offered to prospective investors.
“The technology industry is one of the most important areas of the Greek economy. Our country has a well-trained workforce, and high-level professionals who have international experience and entrepreneurial spirit, providing unique opportunities for investment in value-added services through the use of existing knowledge and research skills, strong infrastructure and exceptional living and working conditions. On its part, Enterprise Greece, in full cooperation with all the players in the technology sector in Greece, will participate in other international exhibitions in 2017 in order to attract investment and increase Greek exports,” the president of Enteprise Greek Christos Staikos said.
