Greece on Wednesday successfully auctioned three- and six-month Treasury bill issues draining 2.925 billion euros from the market. Greek authorities drained 1.3 billion euros from a three-month issue with an interest rate of 2.70 pct, unchanged from the previous auction of same maturity. Bids were 1.3 times more than the asked sum.
Authorities also drained 1.625 billion euros from a six-month auction with an interest rate of 2.97 pct, also unchanged from last month. Bids submitted were 1.3 times more than the asked sum.
