A total of 52 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Greece since Monday, including 7 people entering the country by land or air.
This brings the total cases of coronavirus to 4,279 since the pandemic broke out in Greece, with slightly over half being men (54.5 pct). Some 1,195 are related to travel abroad and another 2,139 were infected by already registered cases.
There are 8 patients intubated in hospitals, with a median age of 56 years. Two of them are women, while 75 pct of them have an underlying disorder or are aged 70 or more. A total of 127 have come out of ICUs since the first outbreak.
In addition, one more person died, bringing fatalities to 203. Of these, 66 were
women and the median age of all was 76 years. A total of 96.1 pct had an underlying ailment and/or were aged 70 or above.
Of the 52 new cases, the National Public Health Organization said, the highest concentrations were noted in the Attica region (14), Thessaloniki (9), and in Kavala, Achaia and Lesvos regions (4 each).
