Greece will ‘lose out’ in the negotiations with Skopje, Centrists Union leader predicts

How is it possible for Greece to enter into negotiations with Skopje over the name issue with the term ‘Macedonia’ as a starting basis, queried Centrists Union party leader Vassilis Leventis in an article published by Enikos.gr. on Monday.

Leventis predicted that “Greece will lose out the in the final give-and-take with Skopje on the name.”

The leader of the Centrists Union underlined that “a compound name is being discussed in which the term Macedonia will be included, with ‘Nova Macedonija’ the most likely candidate.”

The use of the term ‘Macedonia’ by the state of Skopje is the harbinger of more tribulations for Greek Macedonia, added Leventis.
