Greek 12-month T-bill yield falls significantly

Greece on Wednesday successfully auctioned a 12-month Treasury bill issue raising 812.5 million euros from the market at a significantly lower cost.

The interest rate of the issue fell to 0.29 pct from 0.47 pct in the previous auction of same issue. Bids submitted were 1.59 times more than the asked sum. The reduction in the interest rate of the issue reflects a positive climate prevailing in international markets regarding Greek state securities.
