Greek authorities approved Fast Track status to a tourist investment in Evia -the largest in the island and one of the biggest in the country.
The approval was published at the government’s gazzette in September 29, 2016 and refers to an investment project by RSR Eaglec Resort -of Arab interests- in Karystos, Evia. The project is expected to upgrade the regions tourism product and to significantly strengthen local social and economy, offering high-quality services.
The project will cover an area of around 1,600,000 sq.m. and will include hotel units, holiday homes, a marina, sport facilities, spa, conference center and auxiliary infrastructure. The project is expected to create at least 22 new job positions, while the investor has also pledged to offer specific counter benefits to the local society.
RSR Group, which has already invested significant sums on tourist infrastructure projects in Greece, said the approval of the investment plan was a significant development and expects this impecable cooperation to continue during licensing procedures.
