Greek bankers meet with country’s international creditors

Greek bankers met on Wednesday with representatives from the country’s international creditors.

According to sources, lenders raised concerns at the meeting of the low profit levels of Greek banks and the low rate at which bad loans are being reduced.

The two sides looked over the new non performing loan reduction target that Greek banks must commit to by the end of September, for the 2019-2021 period. Sources also said that the issue of corporate governance of Greek banks was also discussed in the meeting.
