Greek exports to Egypt up 60.8 pct in January-November 2018

Greek exports to Egypt grew 60.8 pct in the January-November period in 2018, compared with the corresponding period in 2017, totaling 1.104 billion euros, the Greek embassy in Cairo said in a report on Tuesday.

The report said that Egypt was the 9th biggest export destination for Greek products, absorbing 3.6 pct of total exports. On the other hand, imports from Egypt totaled 599.28 million euros, up 13.2 pct from the 11-month in 2017. Egypt is the 21st biggest supplier of Greece, with a share of 1.2 pct of total Greek imports.
