Greek Foreign Ministry asks Albania to explain denial of entry to 52 Greeks

The Greek Foreign Ministry called on Albania on Friday to explain why it denied entry to 52 Greek citizens as personae non gratae.

In its announcement the Foreign Ministry said, “At the current conjuncture, we expect Albania to refrain from statements and actions that harm the state of our relations.”

Greece “remains committed to the building of relations of trust, but we also expect the same of our neighbors,” the ministry added.
