Greek government’s arrears to private sector down in October

Greek general government arrears to the private sector eased to 3.458 billion euros in October, from 3.559 billion in September, the Finance ministry said on Wednesday.

In a report, the Finance ministry said pending tax returns eased to 832 million euros in October, from 931 million a month earlier, while social insurance organisations’ arrears fell to 1.954 billion euros in October from 2.051 billion in September.
