Greek stocks ended slightly lower in the Athens Stock Exchange on Monday, in the midst of low transactions activity.
The general index of the market closed at 738.47 points, down 0.30 pct. Turnover was a low 31.474 million euros in volume of 35,351,754 shares.
The Large Cap index fell by 0.25 pct, while the Mid Cap ended 0.33 pct lower.
Viohalco (2.44 pct), Mytilineos (1.60 pct) and National Bank (1.47 pct) scored big gains among blue chip stocks, while OPAP (3.76 pct), Attica Bank (3.00 pct) and Lamda Development suffered losses.
Among market sectors, Industrials (2.32 pct) and Raw Materials (1.60 pct) scored big gains, while Health (3.99 pct) and Travel and Leisure (3.38) registered the biggest losses.
National Bank and Eurobank were the most heavily traded securities of the day.
Broadly, advancers led decliners by 89 to 66, with another 41 issues unchanged.
AEGEK (20.00 pct), SAT (15.38 pct) and Frigoglass (11.48) were top gainers, while Dionic (20.00 pct), Vioter (19.23 pct) and CPI (12.72 pct) were the top losers.

The December contract on the FTSE/ASE Large Cap index was trading at a discount of 0.23 pct in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Monday.
Volume on the Large Cap index totaled 3,600 contracts with 7,269 open positions in the market.
Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 152,555 contracts with investment interest focusing on National Bank’s contracts (43,815), followed by Alpha Bank (14,610), Piraeus Bank (8,313), Eurobank (40,667), MIG (17,773), OTE (890), PPC (1,368), ADMIE (872), OPAP (793), Hellenic Exchanges (429), Viohalco (4,936), Mytilineos (2,334), Hellenic Petroleum (4168), Ellaktor (1,128), Jumbo (571), Piraeus Port (34), Intralot (671), Athens Water (557), Cenergy (1,710) and Attica Bank (154), while no contracts were traded for Grivalia Properties.
