Hardalias, Dendias and armed forces leadership vaccinated against coronavirus on Tuesday

Deputy Civil Protection and Crisis Management Minister Nikos Hardalias was vaccinated against the novel coronavirus at noon on Tuesday, at the Attikon University General Hospital in Athens. Other key members of the government to receive the vaccine the same day included Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.

According to an announcement by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), meanwhile, also vaccinated on Tuesday at Athens’ Evangelismos General Hospital were Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS) chief Lieutenant General Georgios Blioumis, Hellenic Navy General Staff (HNGS) chief Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis, the HNGS deputy chief Rear Admiral Georgios Kampourakis and HAFGS deputy chief Major General Nikolaos Retsas.

Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS) chief Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, deputy HAGS chief Lieutenant General Evangelos Lykos and Deputy HNDGS chief Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis were also vaccinated on Tuesday, at Sotiria hospital in Athens.

HNDGS chief General Konstantinos Floros was among the first Greeks to be vaccinated on Sunday, the first day that the vaccine was available in Greece.
