Hardalias on COVID-19: Nothing is over yet

“When the book is written on the way the pandemic was handled there will be things, that were not now widely known, which will be seen as fundamental and played a key role in the way Greece addressed the pandemic,” Deputy Civil Protection and Crises Management Minister Nikos Hardalias said during a video event on the repercussions of the coronavirus organised by the Association of Greek Regions on Wednesday.

“Nobody knows if we are in the midst or at the end of these efforts. What is certain is that through these months of effort we are now stronger and have more experience, means and knowledge, the country now has a steady pace,” Hardalias said.

He also warned that there can be no relaxation of vigilance or in the observance of the rules as the crisis has not yet gone away:”Nothing is over yet, the next months will be very important.”
