Hellenic Post (ELTA) on Tuesday delivered 87 tonnes of care packages with essential goods given by concerned citizens for the flood-stricken residents of West Attica. The care packages were delivered to the Attica regional authority’s Centre for the Management, Storage and Supply of Basic Goods.
The action was launched by a decision of ELTA’s board to offer use of the post office network to create a chain of solidarity and support for flood victims. The care packages were donated by citizens to local post office branches from November 20 until the end of December 2017.
