Hellenic Seamen’s federation declares new strike for Thursday

The Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) declared a new 24-hour strike for Thursday for all ship categories.

The new action extends a 24-hour strike called for Wednesdasy (06:00) to Thursday (06:00).

The federation is protesting against a shipping ministry decision that, according to the federation, allows freighters to sail with minimum “safe manning” crews.

Ships throughout the country will remain docked from 06:00 on Thursday until 06:00 on Friday.
