Hellenic Statistical Authority: Greek industrial turnover index up 2.0 pct in November

Greek industrial turnover composite index (measuring both the domestic and external markets) grew 2.0 pct in November, compared with the same month in 2015, after a 9.7 pct decline recorded in the 2015/2014 period, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday.

The statistics service, in a monthly report, attributed this development to a 5.4 pct increase in the mining turnover index and an 1.9 pct rise in the manufacturing turnover index. The domestic turnover index rose 3.9 pct in November, while the external market index fell 0.4 pct.

The composite index fell 1.0 pct in November from October 2016.
