Hellenic Sugar Industry sells two factories in Serbia

Hellenic Sugar Industry on Thursday launched an international tender for the sale of its two factories in Serbia. Candidate bidders will be able to express their interest in the tender until February 16, 2017, Pantelis Manis, Hellenic Sugar Industry’s CEO told ANA.

The company sells all 776,564 shares (or 92.665 pct) in AD Fabrika Secera Sajkaska Zabali and all 560,729 shares (or 87.539 pct) in Crvenka Fabrika Secera AD Crvenka, both owned by Hellenic Sugar Industry.

Commenting on the fact that there were only seven bids for two out of six real estate assets offered for sale by Hellenic Sugar Industry in a previous tender, Manis told ANA that “despite strong initial interest expressed in the sale, this failed to materialize in the tender”.
