Israeli President Rivlin: Greece and Israel’s cooperation important due to energy reserves

Greece’s cooperation with Israel has become even more important now due to their joint plans for the region’s energy reserves, which included Nicosia, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin noted on Monday.

The Israeli president, who is paying a three-day official visit to Greece, made this statements during his meeting with Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos.

Enough with the wars and the conflicts, Rivlin said and supported solutions that combine safety and peace.

Speaking about the Greek Holocaust Museum, he noted that, through the museum, humanity said no to antisemitism and he thanked the Greek government for the very good cooperation.
