Israeli tourist arrivals forecast for 2017 very encouraging

The Federation of Hellenic Tourist and Travel Agencies (Fedhatta), on the occasion of the annual conference of ITTAA (The Israel Association of Travel Agencies and Consultants), held in Athens, focused on the important prospects of boosting tourist arrivals from Israel to Greece.

The secretary general of the Greek National Tourist Organisation (GNTO) Dimitris Tryfonopoulos stressed that 430,000 Israelis visited Greece in the current year while the prospects for next year are very encouraging. The Greek National Tourist Organisation has already organised targeted actions including familiarisation trips and participation in Israel’s 2017 international exhibition, Tryfonopoulos stated.

A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between Greek and Israeli businessmen in the framework of the conference.
