Kl. Regling: There is a good chance that Greece will regain access to markets if it continues reforms

There is a good chance that Greece will regain access to markets if it continues to persevere with reforms, European Stability Mechanism (ESM) chief Klaus Regling said, according to an Austrian Press Agency (APA) report on Friday. He also appeared confident that Athens will keep up reform efforts.

According to Regling, he considers that the most recent package of financial assistance to Greece, which runs until 2018 and totals 86 billion euros, will also be the last.

Regling made the remarks while addressing the EMU Forum 2016 “Completing Economic and Monetary Union” organised by Austria’s central bank on November 24 and 25, where he was one of two keynote speakers.
