Kotzias, Bushati report ‘significant progress’ during bilateral talks in Korce

Greece’s Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and his Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati reported significant progress during the recent bilateral talks in Korce, Albania, in a joint announcement issued by the foreign ministries in both countries on Sunday. The talks were held between January 19 and 21.

“Following-up on the meeting that took place in Crete last November, both teams achieved substantial progress towards reaching sustainable and forward-looking solutions to outstanding issues, to the mutual benefit of both countries and their citizens, in accordance to European values and norms.

“The discussions were conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere and both sides reiterated their commitment to further pursue the dialogue at all levels in the few coming months,” the announcement said.
