The government is working to complete the third program review as soon as possible, Labour Minister Efi Achtsioglou told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Sunday.
“On the government’s side, is it clear that we are working with the aim of finalizing the review as quickly as possible and I believe that we have all the preconditions for this to happen,” she said.
“Therefore, the remaining time until August 2018 will not only be the last step in a state of strict guardianship, but also the period that will prepare the country’s first dynamic and decisive step for the next day,” she added.
The minister said that the completion of the review will allow the country to discuss the conditions for Greece’s exit from the adjustment program.
Commenting on the ongoing review, she said progress is being made and that some of the pending issues are settled on a technical level.
