Large quantities of ‘ISIS drug’ captagon found in container at Piraeus port

A large quantity of Captagon pills, the drug notoriously used by ISIS jihadists, were found in a container at Piraeus port during a joint operation by the Attica Police drugs squad and their Turkish equivalent, with the assistance of the Hellenic Coast Guard, the Greek Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) and customs authorities.

According to Athens-Macedonian News Agency sources, the shipment had arrived in Greece from the Middle East, probably from Syria, two days ago and its final destination was Croatia.

The pills were hidden in lead pipes.
