Lazard will be the new financial advisor to the Greek Public Debt Management Authority with the task to support the authority in the management of the country’s public debt and mostly the return of Greek state bonds to investment grade within the next two years.

The decision was taken by the Economic Policy Council that met on Wednesday, which adopted a recommendation by the Public Debt Management Authority and a positive recommendation by the State’s Legal Council.
