Leventis: I do not believe there will be a solution in Cyprus talks

The leader of Centrists’ Union Vasilis Laventis said on Monday he does not believe there will be a solution during the current Cyprus talks taking place in Geneva, until Turkey stops questioning international treaties.

“The Cyprus issue is a series of lost opportunities. I do not believe and do not see that there will be a solution until Turkey stops questioning international treaties and claiming Greek islands. I will tell my views to Alexis Tsipras and I hope the prime minister will take them seriously into consideration,” he told journalists as he entered Maximos Mansion for a meeting with the prime minister.
