Αlternate FM: Macron’s visit ‘could not have gone better’

The visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Athens this week could not have gone better in terms of bilateral relations and prospects for French-Greek cooperation in investments, Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs George Katrougalos told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Sunday.

“Macron’s visit could not have gone better both I terms of the confirmation of bilateral strategic relations of friendship and cooperation, as well as on the side of important prospects for the involvement of French businesses in the sectors of investments and energy, in cooperation with Greek companies,” he said.

The visit also “send a clear message to Europe that it needs to change, coupled with a message of trust towards our country, that it has turned a page and is on a path of steady growth,” he said.
