Main opposition ND calls for parliamentary investigation of three current ministers

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) on Tuesday called for the setting up of a preliminary investigation committee in Parliament for Ministers of Shipping Panagiotis Kouroumblis and Health Andreas Xanthos, and his alternate Pavlos Polakis, over the Novartis case of alleged bribery and money laundering.

In a statement, ND said it is tabling a proposal asking Parliament to examine the liability of the three ministers during their tenure in the health ministry between 2015 and 2016, over drug pricing policies. (Kouroumblis was health minister from January 28 to August 28 in 2015.)
