Minister Stathakis sees record investments in energy

Energy and Environment Minister Giorgos Stathakis said on Monday there will be a record high level of investments in 2018 as a result of the country’s privatisation program.

In a debate with New Democracy’s shadow Environment Minister Kostas Skrekas held on Real FM, Stathakis said that energy is the main field which reflects the government’s ability to move ahead with large projects and at the same time attract foreign investments.”

The minister went to add that the construction of the 2 billion euros TAP pipeline line is being completed and that the one billion euro IBG pipeline will start soon, while the undersea power connections with the islands, worth billions, are also progressing.
