Ministers stress need for ‘clear solution’ on Greek debt in meeting with Eurozone envoys

Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Labour Minister Efi Achtsioglou spoke of the need to find a “clear solution” on Greece’s debt in a meeting with the ambassadors of Eurozone member-states in Athens on Monday.

The two ministers also described the prospects and progress of the Greek economy, noting that the government has fulfilled its obligations as part of the second program review and now expects its partners to present a road map for a return to the markets and therefore an exit from the program in the summer of 2018.

This is the only way international investors and Greek citizens will recognize that the Greek economy has turned a page, they added.
