Mitsotakis, Anastasiades discuss diplomatic actions after Turkish statements on Varosha

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke by phone with President of the Cyprus Republic Nicos Anastasiades on Tuesday, said government sources.

The two leaders discussed the latest developments in Cyprus in light of statements made on Tuesday by both the Turkish and Turkish-Cypriot sides, in clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions and European Council conclusions, noted sources.

Further coordinating diplomatic actions by Greece and Cyprus in response to Turkey’s provocation was also discussed.
