Mitsotakis discusses investment opportunities with Gulf countries’ business councils

New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a working lunch on Monday with representatives of the business councils of Greece-Saudi Arabia, Greece-Qatar, Greece-Kuwait and Greece-United Arab Emirates to discuss investments, the party said in a press release.

According to ND, during the talks all sides exchanged views on investment opportunities in Gulf countries, the operation of Greek companies in the region, and ways to attract investments from these countries to Greece. Talks also focused on strengthening Greece’s cooperation with these countries in the energy and banking sectors.

“I feel that the Gulf countries constitute a great untapped opportunity for attracting investments to our country, but also for the extroversion of Greek businesses that are active or want to operate more in the region,” he said.
